Others simply watched.
Daniel quietly asked:
“If I owned one of these paintings, would you speak to me differently?”
Richard gave a small laugh.
“I’m sure that wouldn't be the case.”
Daniel nodded slowly.
“That tells me enough.”
Richard called security.
The two guards approached.
“Sir, we may need to ask you to step outside.”
Daniel picked up his folder.
He wasn't angry.
He wasn't shouting.
He simply looked disappointed.
Before leaving, he turned toward Richard.
“My father used to say something important.”
