Damien stopped.

He looked at Henry's movements.

The way he stepped.

The way he controlled distance.

The way he never wasted energy.

Then Damien looked toward the instructor.

"You know him."

The room became quiet.

The instructor didn't answer immediately.

Henry looked away.

But the instructor finally spoke.

"Yes."

Everyone turned.

"Who is he?"

The instructor looked at Henry.

Then said:

"Someone who taught people like me."

The students looked confused.

Damien frowned.

"What does that mean?"

The instructor walked closer.

"Thirty years ago, before this academy existed, there was a martial arts master named Henry Carter."

Silence.

The students looked between the instructor and Henry.

"Wait..."

"The janitor?"

The instructor nodded.

"Not a janitor."

"At least, not always."

Henry had once been one of the most respected combat instructors in the country.

He trained fighters who later became champions.

He competed internationally.

He was known for a rare philosophy:

A fighter's greatest weapon was not power.

It was control.

But after a tragic injury ended his competitive career, Henry disappeared.

He rejected fame.

He rejected interviews.

He walked away from the spotlight.

And he became exactly what everyone thought he was.

Invisible.

Damien stared at him.

"Why didn't you tell anyone?"

Henry shrugged.
