“The lawyers can’t help you, Derek,” Marcus said coldly. “Because the money your father used to buy them was stolen from the employee pension fund. The same fund you’ve been living off of for the last five years.”

Darius walked slowly into the room. He didn’t say a word. He didn't need to. He just walked right up to Victor, stopping inches away. The man who had destroyed his life, who had stripped him of his dignity and his family, was now trembling like a cornered rat.

“You told me nobody would ever believe a street kid over a Vance,” Darius said softly. “You were right. But they’ll believe the math.”

Darius dropped a thick stack of printed emails and bank transfer records onto the mahogany table. It was the decrypted files Maya had provided, cross-referenced with Darius’s own hidden backups that he had kept as insurance.

“This is a setup!” Victor shouted, panic finally breaking his polished facade. He pointed a shaking finger at Marcus. “He manipulated the records! He’s trying to steal the company!”

Marcus walked around the table until he was standing directly in front of his uncle. “You stole my father’s legacy. You stole Darius’s life. You threatened my daughter.” Marcus’s voice dropped to a terrifying whisper. “You are done.”

The agents moved in, pulling Victor’s arms behind his back. The sharp click of the handcuffs echoed through the silent boardroom.

Derek, realizing the empire was crumbling, tried to back away toward the door. “I didn't do anything! I didn't know about the offshore accounts! I just work here!”

Marcus looked at his nephew with absolute disgust. “You poured coffee on a man you thought couldn't defend himself, Derek. You didn't build this company. You just fed off it. Security.”

Two large security guards—the same ones Derek used to boss around—stepped into the doorway, blocking his exit.

“Escort him to the street,” Marcus ordered. “And cancel his corporate card.”

The fallout was massive, brutal, and swift.

By noon, the news of the Vanguard scandal had hit the financial networks. Stock prices dipped briefly, but stabilized when the market realized the rot was being aggressively cut out.
