Daniel smiled.
“Something like that.”
The employee looked confused.
“Do you have an appointment?”
Daniel opened his notebook.
“I wanted to see how the final version turned out.”
The employee glanced at Daniel’s clothes.
“Most visitors come with scheduled meetings.”
Daniel calmly nodded.
“I understand.”
The employee walked away, assuming Daniel was just another curious visitor.
A few people nearby started whispering.
“He probably doesn’t know this area is restricted.”
“He looks like he came from the workshop, not the executive floor.”
Daniel heard the comments.
But he ignored them.
Instead, he continued examining the vehicle.
He touched the glass covering the battery system and quietly smiled.
