"Malachi..." Sierra whispered, her voice trembling uncontrollably as tears of sheer shock and terror welled up in her eyes. She abandoned Tyler instantly, taking a desperate step forward and reaching out a shaking hand to grab Malachi’s hoodie sleeve. "Malachi, oh my god... I... I didn't know! It was all a terrible misunderstanding! I never stopped loving you, deep down I always knew you were destined for greatness... please, give me another chance. We can go back to how we used to be, just please—"

Malachi violently jerked his arm away, staring down at her with a look of supreme, burning disgust. He didn't hold back his venom.

"Get your filthy hands off me, you shallow, gold-digging parasite!" Malachi lashed out, his voice cutting through the night air like a whip. "When I was building my empire from the ground up, you traded me away the second things got hard because your loyalty belongs only to bank accounts and status! You laughed at my humanity, and now you stand there begging like a stray dog because you realize your meal ticket is gone. You are worthless, repulsive, and pathetic—and you wouldn't even deserve to clean the dirt off my shoes!"
