Marcus walked closer.
"Hey."
Daniel finally turned.
"Yes?"
"You ever trained before?"
Daniel smiled.
"A little."
The room laughed.
Marcus enjoyed that.
"A little?"
Daniel nodded.
"Enough."
That answer bothered Marcus.
Because it wasn't nervous.
It wasn't impressed.
It was calm.
"You should try."
Daniel looked around.
"I don't think that's necessary."
Marcus smiled.
"Afraid?"
The room became quiet.
That was the word Marcus wanted.
Afraid.
He wanted a reaction.
Daniel slowly placed the cleaning cloth down.
"Fine."
Everyone moved closer.
