Jason frowned.
“I don’t understand.”
Master Anderson looked at the students practicing nearby.

Jason looked away.

Emily Carter joined the dojo on a rainy Monday morning.
Nobody paid much attention.
She arrived quietly.
She bowed before entering.
She listened carefully.
She never interrupted.
She never tried to impress anyone.
She simply trained.
Most students assumed she was new.

She had never competed.
She had never won tournaments.
She had never appeared in magazines or videos.
But there was something unusual about her.
The way she moved.
The way she watched.
The way she understood instructions before they were fully explained.
Master Anderson noticed immediately.
“You’ve trained before.”
Emily looked surprised.
“A little.”
“A little?”
She smiled.
“Long ago.”
Master Anderson nodded.
He didn't ask more.
Some people carried their stories quietly.
Emily was one of them.
